Writings of the Early Church Fathers
Below is a list of quotes from the Fathers of the Church on a variety of topics. Many of whom had heard from the Apostles themselves about Christ's teachings. They have continued to pass down these teachings to the Christian faithful for 2,000 years. You will notice that the beliefs of these earliest Christians are exactly the same as what the Catholic Church has believed and taught, but also believes and teaches to this very day!

Throughout the years of the Church's existence Councils have had to be called due to heresies. At these councils, certains points of the Christian faith were defined. You can search through these texts to see what was said at these Councils and declared to be Christian truth.
