Have you been away from the Church or are you just looking in from the outside? Would you like to grow closer to Christ?
Do you desire to learn more about Christ and His Holy Church both East and West? Our Lord Jesus Christ calls all of us to
perfect union with Him, through His Body, which is the Church. By viewing material on this website, we hope that you will
find information which will aid you in your quest to more fully understand His love for you. Christ founded one Church (
St. Matthew 16:18-19), and Our Lord promised that Satan would never triumph over it. As Catholics, we place our full confidence in the words of
the Word Incarnate (
St. John 14:6), and believe that indeed Satan has never and will never overcome God's Church.
It is said
that there are nearly tens of thousands denominations of Christianity, each one proclaiming to have it right. This means,
for the average person peering into Christianity, they only have a 1 in 40,000 chance of Salvation. You should not like those
odds. Catholics, taking Christ seriously by founding the Church upon St. Peter and the Apostles, believe that the Church is
the means of Salvation through the Seven Mysteries (Sacraments) instituted by Christ. Each of these denominations also claim
to teach from the Bible alone. How can they come to different conclusions if they all claim to be led by the Holy Spirit,
but have the same Bible to interpret? The Holy Spirit does not lead people to different truths. The best bet would be to go
with the Church that compiled the Bible under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in 393, and the Church that has stood for
2,000 years: The Holy Catholic Church! We challenge you to investigate the claims of the Holy Catholic Church and to ask God
to show you His Church. Visit your local Catholic parish. If you don't know how to find one, please contact us and we
will be more than happy to lead you to one!
Welcome to the St. Pio Society of Evangelists! The
purpose for this website is also to help orthodox Catholics, who wish to bring others into the Church through fasting, prayer,
and charitable witness. Also the goal is expose the Catholic Church to the world to those who do not understand Her teachings
and help lead others to Her, both Protestants and non-Christians alike.
The Patron Saint of this
website is St. Padre Pio, an Italian Capuchin friar who was blessed with the Stigmata, the 5 wounds of Christ. Yet, this wasn't
what made him a great Saint. He prayed tirelessly every day for the conversion of souls. Through the grace of God, many people
were brought to the Church by miracles attributed him. While we may not be so blessed as St. Pio with grand miracles, through
Christ, we can help bring others home to the Church through prayer! Padre Pio used the Franciscan motto "pace e bene,"
which is translated from Italian as "peace and all good things to you." We hope that this will become your motto,
and hope that you too, will be able to live this out in your daily lives.
Thanks for visiting. Keep us in your prayers and we will keep you in ours!
Pace
e Bene!
